President Allocates Rs. 1 Million from Fund for Each Victim of Kotmale Bus Tragedy
A grant of Rs. 1 million from the President’s Fund will be provided for each person who lost their life in the Kotmale bus accident.
President Anura Kumara Disanayake has instructed that Rs. 1 million be allocated from the President’s Fund to every individual who perished in the unfortunate bus accident that took place early this morning (11) in the Garadiella area, Kotmale.
As a result, arrangements have been made to promptly release these funds to the next of kin through the President’s Fund.
In addition to this support, compensation will also be offered to the affected families through the Sri Lanka Transport Board and related insurance schemes.
The President’s Fund will provide Rs. 1 million to each family who lost a loved one in the Kotmale bus accident. President Anura Kumara Disanayake directed this support for the tragedy in the Garadiella area. The funds will be quickly disbursed to the next of kin. Additionally, compensation will be available through the Sri Lanka Transport Board and insurance schemes to support the affected families further.
