Walking around Colombo, this is a nice spot to rest and take it all in. There are benches to sit on and watch the ocean activities on the Indian Ocean. The backdrop consists of a mixture of architectural and modern buildings and a large green space. The foreground includes a small sandy area where people walk and take pictures. Enjoyed this space.

Galle Face Green is a must visit for anyone traveling to Colombo. Very beautiful all around and located at a very prime location. You will find the most scenic sunsets across the beach. Spacious walking area specially in the evening hours. Local vendors selling local street food items such as Prawns wade,Fried crabs. Some vendors selling kites, so you can enjoy the wind. A large area to enjoy your time with family and friends. Wonderful atmosphere and dynamic surroundings. The most crowded yet the best time to visit the place is in evening!

Loved the Galle Face Green park & view, a must visit place in Colombo. It's also fabulous & the most relaxing place as you get to see the magnificent view of the beach alongside. You can spend lots of time feeling the cold breeze swaying and the vibes it gives to everyone. Could not experience the street food here as we happen to visit in the morning.
