Meeting the President: Girls’ High School, Kandy Students Attend Presidential Reception
Around 371 students from Girls’ High School, Kandy went on a field trip to the President’s House, where they had the special chance to meet President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat.
This effort is part of President Wickremesinghe’s vision to provide schoolchildren with educational experiences at key locations in Colombo, including the Presidential Secretariat, the President’s House, Port City, the Central Bank, and Parliament.
Despite his busy schedule, the President took the time to interact with the students, discussing their educational and extracurricular activities, as well as their participation in student parliament.
He also participated in a group photo with the students and the teachers.
Approximately 371 students from Girls’ High School in Kandy visited the President’s House in a field trip where they met President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat.
