One of the dairy farms in the Nuwara Eliya district that draws the most tourists is Ambewela Farm. Additionally, this farm is the biggest in Sri Lanka. You can explore European nature thanks to this scenic beauty. The lush green grass, cows, and cattle, as well as the clear blue sky, help you unwind from your hard day. This suburb, which is 6,000 feet above sea level, typically has an average temperature of 17.5 Celsius. This line separates the provinces of Central and Uva.

Since its founding in 1978, Ambewela Farm has been producing milk. Since they began producing butter in 1989, it has increased to 33,000 pounds per day. Farms cover 1500 acres and house 2000 heads of the best breed of cattle in the world.

The farm makes a variety of milk products under the Ambewela brand name. The farms produce butter, yogurt, cheese, and fresh milk for Ambelwela. In 2003, Ambewela Farm was converted into a packaging facility with a daily capacity of 30,000 packets. The gross domestic product of Sri Lanka benefits significantly from it.

17.6 kilometers separate from Ambewela Farm from Nuwara Eliya. In around 45 minutes, a private automobile can get you there. Even though it takes some time to get there, you won’t regret the time spent once you are there. The Peradeniya – Badulla – Chenkaladi A5 road is the fastest way to get there. After arriving, turn right onto Blackpool at the Magasthota police checkpoint (Magasthota road). Next, take the Abmewela-Pattipola-Horton plain route on the left. Turn left, then make a right turn onto World’s End Road. Ambewela farms can be reached by turning right at the Ambewela wine store onto the Newzeland farm road.

From 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, the farm is open for visits; the visit will last 1.30 hours. You can pet cows and goats and learn more about the operations of a dairy farm while you’re there. This is the greatest location to go if agriculture interests you.

On the road to the end of the earth, there is a café and a sales center for Ambewela items. From there, you can sample and savor fresh goods. After seeing farms, take a break there. You’ll feel revitalized and eager for your subsequent trip to the end of the globe.
