Business Networking Session Organised by the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Mumbai and India Business Group
A business networking session was organized at the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Mumbai in collaboration with the India Business Group (IBG). The event saw the participation of 17 senior management officials from the freight forwarding, shipping, and tourism sectors.
IBG is a trade council and chamber of commerce that provides guidance and support to Indian businesses aiming to expand globally.
MendisOne Group, a Sri Lankan conglomerate involved in shipping, trading, logistics, travel, and 3D animation, was also present at the session. Acting Consul General of Sri Lanka in Mumbai, Shirani Ariyarathne, introduced Rohitha Mendis, Chairman of MendisOne Group, to the CEO of IBG and other attendees. The Chairman then gave an overview of MendisOne Group.
The Indian companies present engaged in fruitful discussions with Chairman Mendis to explore opportunities for mutual growth and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cross-border business collaborations. Chairman Mendis shared his positive outlook on strengthening ties with logistics and tourism companies in India.
