Buzz Aldrin, 93, 2nd man to walk on the moon, weds for 4th time


Colombo (Information 1st) – Dr. Edwin ‘Buzz’ Aldrin, the second man to stroll on the moon again in 1969, tied the knot for the fourth time on Friday (twentieth), to his longtime girlfriend Dr. Anca Faur, 30 years youthful to him.

Aldrin tweeted Saturday: “On my 93rd birthday & the day I may also be honored by Residing Legends of Aviation I’m happy to announce that my longtime love Dr. Anca Faur & I’ve tied the knot. We have been joined in holy matrimony in a small personal ceremony in Los Angeles & are as excited as eloping youngsters.”

Dr. Kaur, 63, who has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, is the Government Vice President of Buzz Aldrin Ventures. 

Aldrin, who has been divorced 3 times, the final in 2012, has three youngsters, one grandson, three great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.

Aldrin stepped onto the floor of the moon on July 21, 1969, a couple of minutes after Neil Armstrong. He’s the one one of many 3-member crew of Apollo 11 who continues to be alive. Armstrong died in 2012 and the third crew member Michael Collins in 2021.

In all, 12 males walked on the moon as much as the top of the Apollo programme in 1972. Solely 4 of the 12 stay alive at present. NASA plans to return to the moon in 2025.

Aldrin started his profession in america Air Power and flew missions within the Korean Battle, reaching the rank of colonel.
