Cable Solutions Limited makes its trading debut on the CSE
The shares of Cable Solutions Limited (CODE: CSLK-N-0000) began trading on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) on 14th August 2024. These shares have been listed on the Diri Savi Board of the CSE. The event was celebrated with a special Bell Ringing Ceremony.
The company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) for over 80 million ordinary voting shares at Rs. 7.50 per share was oversubscribed on the first day.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Suren Madanayake, Chairman of Cable Solutions Limited (CSL); Mr. Pawan Tejwani, Managing Director of CSL; Mr. Mahesh Amarasiri, Director of CSL; Mr. Daya Wahalatantri, Director of CSL; Ms. Ranila Wijesundara, Head of Operations at Tempest PE Partners; Ms. Sajana Gunewardhana, Assistant Manager at Tempest PE Partners; Mr. Dumith Fernando, Chairman of Asia Securities; Mr. Udesh Rajeendra, Vice President Investment Banking at Asia Securities Limited (ASL); Ms. Pavani Hindurangalage, Analyst at ASL; along with guests from CSL, ASL, and Tempest PE Partners. The CSE was represented by its CEO, Mr. Rajeeva Bandaranaike; CRO, Mr. Renuke Wijayawardhane; and the CSE Senior Management.
Mr. Rajeeva Bandaranaike, in his opening remarks, praised Cable Solutions Limited for taking the progressive step of going public. He highlighted the benefits of listing on the stock exchange and the compliance requirements that would strengthen the company’s position in the long run.
Mr. Pawan Tejwani, in his keynote address, emphasized the company’s growth and success in the cable manufacturing industry, particularly in exports to various countries across the globe. He expressed optimism about the future growth of the company with strong investor support.
