Forecast of Current Weather Conditions
There will be several spells of showers in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle, and Matara districts. A few showers may occur in the North-western province.
Strong winds of about 50 kmph can be expected at times over Western slopes of the central hills and in Northern, North-central, and North-western provinces and in Trincomalee, Monaragala, and Hambantota districts. Fairly strong winds about (30-40) kmph can be expected at times elsewhere on the island.
Intermittent showers are expected in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, as well as in certain districts like Kandy and Galle. There may also be a few showers in the North-western province. Strong winds reaching speeds of around 50 kmph are forecasted for areas like the central hills, Northern, North-central, and North-western provinces, as well as in certain districts like Trincomalee, Monaragala, and Hambantota. Additionally, fairly strong winds of 30-40 kmph can be expected in other parts of the island.
