General entrance exam fee and other charges of Law College increased


The charges for the overall entrance examination, registrations, examinations and sensible coaching, and different charges charged by the Regulation Faculty have been elevated.

This was introduced in a particular gazette notification, dated January 05, issued by the Integrated Council of Authorized Schooling.

Accordingly, the overall entrance examination payment for the Regulation Faculty was elevated from Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 15,000.

In the meantime, registration charges charged from the preliminary 12 months college students (direct entry college students from the overall entrance examination and people with international LLB levels), the intermediate 12 months college students and the ultimate 12 months college students have additionally been hiked.

As per the gazette notification, preliminary 12 months college students, who straight enter from the overall entrance examination, now must pay Rs. 25,000 as admission payment, and Rs. 25,000 lecture payment, and a complete of Rs. 67,500 for the primary educational 12 months.

Preliminary-year college students who enter the Regulation Faculty with a international LLB diploma are charged Rs. 117,500 in whole for the primary educational 12 months together with an admission of Rs. 75,000.

On the similar time, the intermediate- and final-year college students should pay a complete of Rs. 40,500 and Rs. 50,500, respectively for the actual educational years.

In the meantime, an admission payment of Rs. 25,000 is levied from ultimate 12 months college students with LLB levels from any college established or deemed to be established underneath the Universities Act, No. 16 of 1978 or Basic Sir John Kotelawala Defence College.

The communiqué talked about that the revised sensible coaching payment now will likely be Rs. 25,000.
