General entrance exam fee and other charges of Law College increased


The costs for the general entrance examination, registrations, examinations and wise teaching, and completely different costs charged by the Regulation College have been elevated.

This was launched in a selected gazette notification, dated January 05, issued by the Built-in Council of Approved Education.

Accordingly, the general entrance examination fee for the Regulation College was elevated from Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 15,000.

Within the meantime, registration costs charged from the preliminary 12 months faculty college students (direct entry faculty college students from the general entrance examination and other people with worldwide LLB ranges), the intermediate 12 months faculty college students and the last word 12 months faculty college students have moreover been hiked.

As per the gazette notification, preliminary 12 months faculty college students, who straight enter from the general entrance examination, now should pay Rs. 25,000 as admission fee, and Rs. 25,000 lecture fee, and a whole of Rs. 67,500 for the first academic 12 months.

Preliminary-year faculty college students who enter the Regulation College with a worldwide LLB diploma are charged Rs. 117,500 in entire for the first academic 12 months along with an admission of Rs. 75,000.

On the same time, the intermediate- and final-year faculty college students ought to pay a whole of Rs. 40,500 and Rs. 50,500, respectively for the precise academic years.

Within the meantime, an admission fee of Rs. 25,000 is levied from final 12 months faculty college students with LLB ranges from any faculty established or deemed to be established beneath the Universities Act, No. 16 of 1978 or Primary Sir John Kotelawala Defence Faculty.

The communiqué talked about that the revised wise teaching fee now will probably be Rs. 25,000.
