HC Santosh Jha makes first payment for Hybrid Power Projects
HC Santosh Jha delivered the initial payment for the Hybrid Power Projects in Delft, Nainativu, and Analaitivu islands to Secretary, Ministry of Power and Energy, Dr. Sulakshana Jayawardena, and Chairman, Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority (SLSEA).
The project, aimed at meeting the energy requirements of the residents of the 3 islands that are not connected to the national grid, is being carried out with Indian grant assistance of USD 11 million.
HC Santosh Jha recently handed over the first payment for Hybrid Power Projects in Delft, Nainativu, and Analaitivu islands to the Ministry of Power and Energy and the Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority. The project, funded by an Indian grant assistance of USD 11 million, aims to address the energy needs of these three islands that are not connected to the national grid. This initiative will provide sustainable energy solutions to the residents of these islands and improve their quality of life.
