Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya expressed gratitude for the support received from public servants in recent months and stressed the importance of everyone committing themselves with increased effort and enthusiasm to delivering the services that the government is tasked with providing to the people in the upcoming year.
These comments were made by the Prime Minister while launching the Prime Minister’s Office operations in conjunction with the Clean Sri Lanka initiative, inaugurated today with the presence of President Anura Dissanayake.
Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister’s Secretary, Mr. Pradeep Saputhanthri, stated:
“We have a significant responsibility to bring about the change that the people of this country desire. Let us approach our duties with utmost responsibility and focus to meet these expectations. There is a demand from the public for a shift in our conduct, work ethic, and overall approach. It is crucial for public servants to work together to achieve this.”
The event was attended by all officials of the Prime Minister’s Office, including Additional Secretaries, Assistant Secretaries, and other staff members.
