Observation Tour by Minister of Public Defence and Parliamentary Affairs at Narahenpita Police Hospital
The Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Ananda Wijayapala has conducted an urgent inspection visit to the Police Hospital in Narahenpita recently.
During the visit, he addressed the issues and deficiencies of the hospital with the hospital staff and checked on the well-being of the patients undergoing treatment there.
Additionally, the minister has directed the relevant Divisions to take necessary actions to address the current shortcomings and requirements of the hospital.
Several high-ranking officials, including Mr. Ravi Senevirathne, the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs, and the Acting Inspector General of Police, Mr. Priyantha Weerasuriya, also took part in this visit.
The Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs visited the Police Hospital in Narahenpita to address issues and deficiencies. Mr. Ananda Wijayapala met with staff to discuss improvements needed and checked on patient well-being. He directed relevant divisions to take actions to address the hospital’s needs. Senior officials such as Mr. Ravi Senevirathne and Mr. Priyantha Weerasuriya also participated in the visit. The Minister’s emergency observation aimed to ensure that the hospital is well-equipped to provide quality care to patients. Measures will be taken to address any existing deficiencies in the hospital.
