Opening of RO plant at Kaudulla Maha Vidyalaya in Medirigiriya
The Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant, part of the Naval Social Responsibility (NSR) Project, was inaugurated at Kaudulla Maha Vidyalaya in Medirigiriya yesterday (16). This project, implemented with the expertise of the Navy’s Research and Development Unit, was sponsored by Perera and Sons Bakers (Pvt) Limited. It also marked the 1076th unit delivered under the NSR Project.
With a daily purification capacity of 1000 liters, the RO plant now provides safe drinking water to the students of Kaudulla Maha Vidyalaya and the local residents.
The Managing Director of Perera and Sons Bakers (Pvt) Limited, Mr. Gihan Perera, along with a group of distinguished guests and naval personnel, graced the occasion.
The Navy’s Research and Development Unit opened a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant at Kaudulla Maha Vidyalaya, funded by Perera and Sons Bakers (Pvt) Limited as part of the Naval Social Responsibility Project. It is the 1076th unit delivered under this project and has a daily purification capacity of 1000 liters, providing safe drinking water to the school children and residents. The opening ceremony was attended by the Managing Director of Perera and Sons Bakers, Mr. Gihan Perera, along with distinguished guests and naval personnel. This initiative aims to provide clean drinking water to communities in need.
