Predicted Weather Patterns
Rainfall is expected in Sabaragamuwa province and in Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts.
There will be several showers in Western and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
Strong winds reaching (50-55) kmph may occur over Western slopes of the central hills, as well as in Northern, North-central, and North-western provinces, Trincomalee, Monaragala, and Hambantota districts.
Moderately strong winds of about (30-40) kmph are expected elsewhere on the island.
Showers are expected in Sabaragamuwa province, Kandy, and Nuwara-Eliya districts, with stronger winds in Western slopes of the central hills, Northern, North-central, and North-western provinces, Trincomalee, Monaragala, and Hambantota districts. Western and North-western provinces, as well as Galle and Matara districts, will also experience spells of showers. Fairly strong winds of (30-40) kmph are likely in other parts of the island.
