President Begins Third Day of State Visit to China with Success
During his four-day state visit to China, Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Disanayake is participating in an investment session organized at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping on the third day (16) of his visit.
The investment session, jointly organized by public and private sector entities, is a key highlight of President Disanayake’s visit and will be held under his patronage.
Following the session, President Disanayake will pay tribute at the Monument to the People’s Heroes by laying a floral wreath to honor their legacy.
In the afternoon, President Disanayake is scheduled to meet with Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, for discussions on strengthening bilateral relations.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath, along with Minister of Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation Bimal Rathnayake, will also participate in these significant engagements.
