The value of a kilogram of wheat flour has been elevated by Rs. 10 whereas the value of a kilogram of sugar has been elevated by Rs. 25 with speedy impact.
This was introduced by the Important Meals Commodities Importers and Merchants Affiliation.
This value revision has taken place after yesterday’s (Might 07) announcement by the Ministry of Finance that the Customs responsibility concession of Rs. 3 per kilogram of wheat flour has been eliminated.
State Minister of Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya nevertheless stated that there will likely be no change within the value of wheat flour as a result of responsibility revision.
