- Start your journey from Colombo and head towards Kandy on the Colombo–Kandy road.
- From Kandy, continue on the Mahiyangana–Padiyathalawa road towards Maha Oya.
- At the 69th Mile Post Junction, turn right onto the Ampara-Uhana-Maha Oya highway.
- Continue on the Ampara-Uhana-Maha Oya highway and pass by Piyangala Temple.
- Keep driving for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the Rajagala Board.
- At the Rajagala Board, turn right and continue driving for another 2 kilometers.
- You will then arrive at Rajagala, which is approximately 277 kilometers from Colombo.
