Russian Ambassador Meets with President to Discuss Enhancing Bilateral Relations
His Excellency Levan S. Dzhagaryan, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Sri Lanka, had a meeting with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake this morning (01) at the Presidential Secretariat.
During the meeting, Ambassador Dzhagaryan conveyed his warm congratulations to President Dissanayake on his recent election and presented a personal message from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
President Putin expressed his anticipation that the bilateral relationship between the two countries will strengthen under the leadership of President Anura Dissanayake.
The conversation revolved around enhancing the longstanding bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Russia. Both sides emphasized the significance of boosting cooperation in key areas such as trade, investment, culture, and education, while reiterating their dedication to deepening diplomatic relations for the mutual benefit of both nations.
