Siri Dalada Vandanawa’ Supported by Clean Sri Lanka Initiative’s Waste Disposal Campaign
In alignment with the ‘Siri Dalada Vandanawa’, the Clean Sri Lanka programme organized a unique waste management campaign today (24), concentrating on maintaining cleanliness along the three main access routes to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and its surrounding areas.
The initiative included active participation from officers of the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat along with several volunteer groups made up of both youth and adults. Their involvement was a distinctive aspect of the campaign.
The campaign’s goal was not only to ensure proper waste disposal but also to educate the public on the importance of developing a responsible approach to waste management.
In accordance with the ‘Siri Dalada Vandanawa’ season, the “Clean Sri Lanka” programme has been actively carried out over the past few days, focusing on the historic Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
