The GCE O/L exam starts tomorrow
The GCE O/L examination will begin tomorrow, May 6 and end on May 15. Approximately 452,979 candidates will be participating in the examination.
Approximately 387,648 school students and 65,331 private candidates will be taking the examination. The examination will take place at 3,527 centres, 535 coordination centres, and there will be special examination centres in Tangalle, Jaffna, and the School for the Deaf and Blind in Ratmalana.
This year, 730 children with special needs will be taking the examination.
The Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara, stated that a special program will be implemented to prevent examination fraud.
