Two Books Inspired by Parliamentary Heritage Presented to the Prime Minister

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya received two books, ‘Darkness at Daybreak’ by Mr. Nandasiri Jasen Thuliyan and ‘Memories of 33 Years in Parliament’ by Attorney-at-Law Mr. Nihal Senewiratne, on March 15 at the Parliament premises.

Both works are based on parliamentary recollections of events. Notably, Mr. Nihal Senewiratne, who served as the Secretary General to Parliament for 17 years, wrote ‘Memories of 33 Years in Parliament’ drawing from his extensive 33-year career in parliamentary service.

The occasion was graced by the presence of the Attorney, Mrs. Dhanushki Liyanapatabendi.
