Two districts have been issued a landslide warning
A landslide warning has been issued by the Building Research Organization (BRO) for various areas in the Badulla and Nuwara Eliya districts.
The organization has advised residents in the Passara, Hali Ela, Badulla, Kandaketiya, Uva Paranagama, Meegahakivula, and Soranathota areas of the Badulla district to stay vigilant against potential landslides.
Residents in the Walapane area of the Nuwara Eliya district have also been urged to be on high alert for landslides.
